Giving to the Church

The churches have served the local community for hundreds of years and have always relied on individuals giving their money, as well as their time, expertise and other resources. Parish churches don't receive central funding: they depend on donations and local fundraising to cover the costs of ministry and to keep the ancient buildings safe, warm and fit for purpose.

If you love the church, are glad that it's here, and would feel anything from disappointment to heartbreak to see the doors close for good, please support the church financially.

To donate online to St Margaret's Darenth, please go to our CAF Donate page.

To donate to the other churches, or for details of how to donate "offline", please contact the vicar who will be delighted to hear from you.

If you shop online, you might also like to support the church with EasyFundraising, through which retailers donate back to the church a small percentage of your purchase at no extra cost to you. Go to and search for "St Mary's Church Fabric Appeal", "St Margaret's Church Darenth" or "St John's Church Sutton-at-Hone". Happy shopping!
